I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all the Exco and Members who have contributed to making this day possible. Your unwavering support and commitment to the cause of an open, accessible, and secure Internet have brought us to this moment of celebration.

The Internet has become an integral part of our daily lives, transforming the way we communicate, conduct business, access information, and connect with the world. As the President of the Internet Society, it is my firm belief that the Internet should be a tool for empowerment, fostering innovation, education, and inclusive development.

The Sri Lanka Chapter of the Internet Society has been at the forefront of advocating for an open and inclusive Internet ecosystem. Through various initiatives, programs, and collaborations, the Chapter has played a vital role in promoting digital literacy, fostering Internet governance discussions, and advocating for policies that support an open and secure Internet in Sri Lanka.
